This service is for students moving into a Michigan residence hall: Markley, Lloyd, Couzens, Stockwell, MoJo, North Quad, East Quad, South Quad, West Quad, Bursley, Baits or Oxford. You can ship belongings to us at any time during the summer using a common carrier such as UPS, FedEX or USPS. You pay for the shipping to Ann Arbor.
If you choose to ship directly to a University residence hall there are strict restrictions. As indicated on the official housing web page, packages shipped directly to a residence hall cannot arrive more than one or two days prior to your arrival and not during any of the primary move-in days (see http://www.housing.umich.edu/fall-movein).
By shipping them to us there are no restrictions. We will receive them any time and deliver them on the residence hall package room on an acceptable day. The boxes just have to be in our possession by August 25th. Once you arrive, inquire at your residence hall's community center and they will direct you to your packages.
This service is especially helpful if you are planning to direct ship mail-ordered items because their ship and delivery days are unpredictable.

Unfortunately, due to University security concerns, we can no longer deliver packages directly to your room before your arrival. "Move-in Makers" are available during the primary move-in days to help deliver belongings up to your room.
