We ship everything via UPS ground.
When our pick-up crews receive your boxes for shipping, they do not calculate your charges, nor do they give advice re: whether or not it is a good idea to ship your belongings. All items picked up are sent to our warehouse for labeling and shipping through UPS, and then we apply the charges to your card on file.

We recommend that you box all shipped items. UPS applies overcharges to items that are overweight, oversized or unboxed (e.g. a suitcase or duffel). More important, unusually shaped items do not do well on UPS conveyor systems, and the container is not insured against damage, only the contents.
Boxes to most destinations arrive within 3 to 7 days of shipment. During busy seasons such as spring move-out, shipments leave Ann Arbor the next business day after we receive them. You can track them online using the number provided on your receipt.
During the busy move-out season UPS suspends its day-definite delivery guarantee.
If you want to use your personal account number contact UPS directly. We cannot bill things to your account..
