options for packages arriving after the deadline
If your box doesn’t get to us by Aug 8th, don’t panic! We will still accept delivery.
Each of the large student housing buildings, both University dorms and privately owned, set a bulk delivery date. We make those deliveries starting Monday, 8/11. Once the bulk delivery for that building is completed, in-room delivery is not longer possible.
So if you’re package arrives after 8/8 and you live in one of the buildings listed below, you have three options:
1) There’s no additional fee if you pick the package(s) up from our office @727 W Ellsworth Suite #5, M-F 8:30am-5pm, Sat 9am-noon ( about 8 min from campus, near Costco).
2) If you want your packages as soon as you arrive, we can contract a courier. They can deliver up to 3 boxes to your room, usually within 2-4 hours, for ~$150 during the busy move-in season. Call us once you're in your room and we will dispatch a driver. We can only book this service once you’re here and can personally take delivery.
3) If you don't need it right away, the same service is available for sometime the next business day at a cost of ~$75. Again, we can only book this service after you’ve arrived in Ann Arbor.
The bulk delivery locations are: All the Michigan residence halls, sororities, ArborBlu, Campus Edge, Courtyards, Foundry, Landmark, Legacy, Saga, Six11, Standard, Varsity, Verve, Vic Village N and S, the Yard, Z Place and Z West.
For any other house or apartment, the package needs to arrive at least 3 days before you want it delivered.
An additional fee of $10 is added to the receiving and delivery charge for each late arriving package.
