Each set includes:

5 pre-paid UPS labels (expire 30 days after issued)

What you will receive:

We email you 5 UPS shipping labels.

What you will need to do:

Purchase boxes locally, fill them with your belongings and affix one of our shipping labels. Then either order a UPS pick up from home (home pick up fee not included in order) or drop it off at a UPS store near you.

Do not ship liquids or glass/fragile items without professional help.

Pricing:

Registration plus 5 pre-paid labels: $10

Each box shipped from CA, OR and WA: $175

Each box shipped from AZ, NV, MT, IA, S TX, S FL: $155

Each box shipped from CO, NM, WY, N TX: $130

Each box shipped from N FL, MA, ME, NH, ND, SD, KS, NE, OK, AR, AL: $115

Each box shipped from all other states including NY, NJ, PA, MD, GA, IL, VA: $95

The fee includes shipping to JPS, storage and delivery to your room.

Boxes that exceed 50 lbs or the volume of an18x18x24” box automatically incur additional fees.

If you order boxes from a vendor, be sure the JPS order number is included on every package. Your order number will be emailed to you after you register. A fee of $20 will be added to packages without an order number. The cost for us to receive and deliver those packages can be found here, prices.

We start to receive packages on Monday, June 16th

This service is for 48 States only. For AK, HI, PR and international students use Options 3 and 4.

You can insure the entire order when you register or email us to add it when a box is sent.  The default value for each package is $100. Read about Insurance. AGAIN, EACH PACKAGE WE RECEIVE USING THIS SERVICE IS INSURED FOR $100 UNLESS YOU EMAIL US WHEN IT’S SHIPPED OR ADD IT NOW WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER. If you do not put additional insurance on a package, you will only receive $100 if we lose it. In 2025 our loss ratio was 2 boxes/1,000. That’s extremely low. But if it’s your box that we lose, that number means nothing to you. So please insure your boxes.

If you want to use more than one option, register once and use the same order number on each box. do not register for more than one option.

You don’t need to know how many boxes you’ll be sending to register. If you need more than 5 labels, email JPS. We email 5 at a time for $10.

You don’t need your room assignment to start shipping. Just enter “unknown” when prompted and email us as soon as you’re updated.
